Kilimani Children’s Clinic invites applications from qualified, organized, and detail-oriented individuals for the position of  Stores & Inventory Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, management, control, and issuance of medical and non-medical supplies, ensuring the availability of essential items and the uninterrupted delivery of clinical and operational services.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, store, and issue medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, vaccines, consumables, and general inventory.

• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper documentation of all stock movements.
• Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, and reorder points using FEFO/FIFO principles.
• Conduct routine stock counts and reconcile inventory variances.
• Maintain clean, secure, and compliant storage areas.
• Prepare inventory reports and promptly report stock shortages, damaged, or expired items.
• Support stock audits and ensure compliance with clinic inventory policies and procedures.
• Liaise with the Procurement and Finance teams to ensure timely availability of supplies.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement & Logistics, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in stores or inventory management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Experience with inventory management systems is an added advantage.
